How do I renew my cigarette/tobacco license?

IMPORTANT: Please note, you may not see a Renew Now link if you did not renew your cigarette and tobacco license(s) in the previous year. In this case, you must register for a new license for each branch location that is no longer eligible for renewal. To add new branch or vending locations, you must register for a new account by logging in, navigating to the More. tab, and selecting the Register New Business Tax Account link from the Accounts panel. • Eligible license(s) will automatically populate within the Renew Licenses step:
  • To make edits to a license, select the coordinating pencil icon located to left of each license.
  • When ready, select Next to continue to the Owners/Officers step.

  In most cases, license renewals are processed automatically and are available to view within 24 hours of submitting the renewal. Once processed, you can locate your renewed license by navigating to the More. tab and selecting the View Letters link from the Letters panel.

  Please note, a license renewal may be delayed or denied if your business has any outstanding delinquent balances or non-filed returns. In this situation, the status of your license renewal in myPATH may show as Processed , but the License Status will be listed as Pre-Denied .
